Weapons Training - Whats your favourite weapon ?

Weapons Training

We always do some weapons training at the end of every class, normaly we study one weapon for a month then move on to the next one . This takes place over a 6 month cycle which is repeated twice a year.

Over the years i've found that this works best, it allows students to return to a weapon at different stages of their learning and keeps training fresh and interesting. Personaly I like all the weapons training but I thought I'd ask (and you can only vote for one) ...... Whats your favourite ?

After you've made your choice you might like to add a comment about why.

I don't have much experience, but for now I like Hanbo. It's "easy" weapon , at least for me and very practical ;)

Seeing as i asked the question i thought it only fair that i answer as well. My favourite at the moment is Kasarifundo, it's pratical in terms of everyday items like a belt or a piece of rope.

It's also one of the more difficult to learn and I like the mental challenge.

I'm still pretty junior, but I'm liking the kusari fundof too. I find that the better the weight, the easier ito is to control (padlocks on chain, flows and stops more predictably than rope with a knot the end) :D
I imagine that a belt with a nice strong buckle would be much the same!
